Dance Apotheosis premiere - Mondavi Center for the Arts
Violinist Jonathan Yi was the winner of the prize for best performance of a newly-commissioned work, two sections of the solo violin suite, Dance Apotheosis, in the Young Artists Competition at the Mondavi Center for the Arts, in Davis, CA. Artistic director Lara Downes hosted a tremendous weekend of auditions from a wide variety of talented young men and women, workshops, events, and a successful concert featuring the winners.
